Here are a few galleries of my ceramics work. I mostly work in earthenware terracotta, and I especially love charcoal pit firing. I have been experimenting with glazing in charcoal pit firing and am so far very impressed with how successful it was. The pots turn out very rugged and gritty, with interesting textures and color. Charcoal firings imparts this fascinating redox chemistry to the pots, both glazed and unglazed. I feel I have just barely scratched the surface, and I am very excited to take this medium further.
